Brilliant Futurist Ross Dawson predicts that newspaper will be extinct by the 2020’s. This seems optimistic now considering the multiplier effect that accelerating speed of change in technology brings with it. We will see a consolidation of old media and a further atomisation of independent online news resources that will dilute any remaining value from the old media and their dying business model.
